Hon. David Bahati's Electrifying Address Brings Laughter and Hope to St. Peter's Rushoroza Cathedral Anniversary

Today, the esteemed Hon. David Bahati made waves in the community as he graced the First Year Anniversary celebrations of St. Peter's Rushoroza Cathedral Parish Kampala Muruka at MUBS Chapel Nakawa. His presence was nothing short of electrifying, and his speech was both entertaining and motivational, leaving the audience in high spirits.
Hon. Bahati, a master of combining humor with his insightful wisdom, started off by highlighting the importance of unity and togetherness among Christians. He joked about how the congregation is so united that even their choir sings in harmony when they can't agree on the color of their robes! Nonetheless, his emphasis on shared values resonated with everyone in attendance.
The Minister's generosity was on full display as he spoke about the avocado seedlings he gifted to the community. He quipped that soon, the area would be known not just for its beautiful scenery but also for its healthy guacamole. His dedication to fighting poverty was evident, and his audience chuckled at the thought of a future bustling with avocado entrepreneurs.
In an exciting announcement, Hon. Bahati shared that funds have been secured to tarmac the Bunyonyi Kabale road, with construction set to begin immediately. He lightheartedly noted that the road will soon be so smooth, people will be tempted to take a stroll just for fun. The prospect of improved infrastructure was met with cheers and applause.

The Minister's support extended to the celebration itself, as he generously donated 30 million UGX towards purchasing cathedral chairs and 1 million UGX for the day's festivities. He playfully mentioned that the new chairs would be so comfortable that some might mistake church for a spa day!
Hon. Bahati's speech was peppered with witty anecdotes and heartfelt encouragement. He stressed the importance of supporting leaders and playing an active role in the community, adding that everyone has a unique gift to contribute—whether it's offering a helping hand or telling a good joke to lift spirits.
