*The Final Goodbye of Matthias Kalemba*
 Screenplay: Davis Owomugisha
**Setting:** Namugongo, the morning of May 30, 1886. Matthias Kalemba is gravely injured, lying on the ground. Kikuwambazza (Kikuwa) is by his side for a last visit.

**Kikuwa:** *(holding his hand, tears falling)* Matthias, I'm here. Can you hear me?

**Matthias:** *(struggling to speak, eyes fluttering open)* Kikuwa... my love... I hear you. Thank God you came.

**Kikuwa:** *(choking on her sobs)* How could they do this to you? You didn't deserve this!

**Matthias:** *(with a weak smile)* It's not about what I deserve. It's about standing for what I believe. God is with me, Kikuwa.

**Kikuwa:** *(crying harder)* I don't want you to go. What will I do without you?

**Matthias:** *(gently squeezing her hand)* You will be strong. For our children. Tell them about my love for them. About my faith.

**Kikuwa:** *(nodding, tears streaming down her face)* I will. I promise. But how can I say goodbye?

**Matthias:** *(voice breaking)* This is not goodbye. It’s just... until we meet again. In Heaven, Kikuwa. We will be together again.

**Kikuwa:** *(sobbing quietly)* I love you so much, Matthias. Forever.

**Matthias:** *(a tear falling down his cheek)* And I love you. Forever and always. Keep the faith. Take care of our children. Live for them. And for God.

**Kikuwa:** *(leaning in, kissing his forehead)* I promise. I will make you proud.

**Matthias:** *(closing his eyes, whispering)* You already have, my love. You already have.

Kikuwa stays with Matthias until his last breath, feeling his spirit leave his broken body. She holds onto his words, his love, and his faith, finding strength in them as she faces life without him. His legacy of courage and faith becomes her guiding light, giving her the strength to carry on.
